Brian, the dog, is the intelligent one of the show. Well read, drinks martini's, articulate, etc. He's in love with Lois, and Peter's best friend (mans best friend is his dog, right).

That's Brian. He's the brains of the operation! Honestly, I have no idea why they made a talking dog, but hey, it makes as much sense and Stewie, who was born to two New Englander's yet has a pseudo-Old English accent.

Oh and the voice of Meg is the same girl that plays Jackie on "That 70s Show" Just a little trivia for ya.

It's what happens when Acid Freaks get into writing cartoons.

Who saw the Star Wars episode the other night? Me and my boy could not stop laughing. :D
Was that when Quagmire was naked in front of the window when it slams shut and he call 911?

I don't feel like writing a novel so click here Brian Griffin (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Griffin)
Brian's voice, is actually Seth MacFarlane actual real life voice!

FG is a thinking man's South Park with more subtle innuendo and less in your face humor. I think it's a PG-13 Simpson's. I think both of these Fox cartoons are really brilliant shows.

I realize that. :D
Just thought remember someone saying that in the beginning the dog didnt talk and was curious what happened.
It's a cartoon Ritchey, just go with it. :D

I dont really watch this show, but isnt the dog talking really just his thoughts? Seems that nobody else can hear him...maybe I'm wrong...I dont watch it much...

No everyone can hear Brian, its Stewie (the baby) that people can only hear some of the times.

I'm pretty sure it's the opposite at best. Family Guy is a great show, but the humor is pretty much "base." It's just dropping in random funny scenes at strange times. It's brilliant, but not too tough to get save for some discreet pop references.
South Park is generally a fully laid out plot with subtle jokes at society. They actually did an episode on this. It was basically Cartman ranting about how he hates FG and was pissed when people assumed he likes it. The gist of it was that FG was written by whales selecting random balls or something like that.
