In Parker our place was pretty 20ft from the water and every so often we would see a rattler at night! Scary

Nothing stops your heart like walking along in the backyard and one is crawling in front of you.
The mesh is good to keep out skunks too.
We suddenly have lots of them about as well.

Haven't seen a rattler in Havasu the 5 years I've had a house there.

I saw a skunk at 9 pm by the London Bridge a month or so back.
Im sure there are all kinds of critters down there.

There's a couple a Echo that hang out behind a short fence on the back row. I was poking them with a ski flag the other day and they didn't even rattle. Pussies:sqeyes: :D

We have a friend that has a home that backs up against the desert by Bison and he has had a rattler go in and out of the swimming pool. The scary thing about this was that there were two ladies in the pool when this happened last summer.

There are definitely rattlers around Havasu! I have a place at Crazy Horse and the neighbors have killed 2 in the last year. One was almost 4' long and the other was a little less than 2'.
