I have a 1985 Chevy C-10 shortbed with Air Suspension and red with flames, full custom interior etc. These are very cool body styles and take well to customizing. Mine was on the cover of Truckin' magazine about a year ago and is a full blown show winner. I also plan to do a K5 2wd in the future. very slick little trucks. If you need any advice on your project I am the Editor at StreetTrucks Magazine and can help recommend parts and builders.

I had a'73 K-5 4x4 when I was in high school. It was a blast. Full convertable top. 383 stroker with a turbo 350 on 33's with 4:10 gears. I'll have to find some pics of it and scan them in.

Thanks for the response and keep em coming, i dig the way tricked out lowriders, but not to feesible with our roads here in oklahoma and living in the country. I want to lower mine some and maybe you can help, I was thinking 3 inch lowering coil (cheap!!!) for the front, and i will need around 4 inch in the rear, but being a blazer there seems to be no room for a front hanger to postion the front of the rear spring higher, i was thinking of flipping the rear, but how low will that put it, (the thickness of the rear acxle tube, right ? ? ?) That would be the cheapest, but i dont want it too low, i like tire sidewall, so i bought some used 18 and now have 255/55 18 front, 285 55 18 rear. Oh yeah here is the truck i built to pull it last year from a 2 wd converted to a 4 wheel drive, but it looked stupid pulling a hydro, (and i painted my boat so i didnt want the rock chips) so i went to hill climbing, flipped it and broke a leg, so im out on the 4wd, and using the goodies on the blazer

well those damn tires are way to big, so they are going back, and im going for the toyo st 295 45 18 on rear and 255 45 18 or 255 50 18 on the front. then the lowering, with the 285 55 it looked like i was trying to tuck some 31 10.5 on the rear, looked like it needed lifted ! ! !

Thanks Travis. I'd like to get some of these shot for the mag that'd be cool.
I'll give you a call. I'm getting close on the white truck. INTRO is making some 24's for the k5 so i'm having to change a few things to fit 24's on there so it probably wont be ready till later summer.
We were going to attend FFF this weekend with this

Duece'sdad, I found some 3" coils and 2" shackles and 2" hangers. I'm not sure if the hangers will fit but the shackles i think will and the coils will for sure.
let me know if you want any of this.

Yeah i would be interested in the coils, and the shackles, im not sure that the hanger will fit, its already against the floor board from factory, so i will have the eyes reversed or springs dearched to get the other 2 inches in the rear for the 3/4 drop, what kinda deal we talkin, b/c shipping $$ might be the only hang up, let me know or pm me, thanks, Dustin
