Does anyone have this system? I was curious of the performance and sound of this.

I am a installer by trade. We have a saying "no highs no lows it must be Bose" they are ok but not great. For a $1000 u can get a nice reciever and speakers that will stomp on the Bose. It u want simple and clean mellow sound the Bose is fine but spendy for 2 paper cone speakers.

We have one in our Pismo house. For what it is, we have been VERY happy with it. I will be getting one for my bedroom too.

I saw a 30 minute add for it last night on t.v. It seems o.k. I think you could get more out of a receiver and house speakers for less $$.

3-2-1 is ok in small room. There are better options and cheaper units to blow away Bose. I have the high end bose with the mini speakers and not happy with sound. Look elsewhere is my advice.

Actually, It is simple, sounds great for most people. If you are an Audiophile you will think it sucks. But for the money, simplicity, and features, it's well worth it for at least 80% of us. Myself included. They are much cheaper on E-Bay, BTW.

(Plus I found that the kids can't really screw it up. Like they did my last home system.)

I have a big TV room and it seem like what you guys are saying it wont be the best. I have pieced together a system in my house after doing research a while ago and now my receiver it shutting off at will. I have a feeling it is taking a crap.
I am thinking of buying a total inclusive package like a Sony, Yamaha etc. My brother did and it sounds great.

Your probably right. The 321 is great for the average living room, wide screen, IMHO. But more than that it is only adequate.

It will not work well at all in a large room.

Make sure the speaker wires have not come loose and are touching anything else. I see this all the time when receivers start to shut down. Also try disconnecting one speaker at a time and see if it still happens, and make sure you have the right ohm setting set on the receiver, some will shut down if it gets too low.
My brother has the 3-2-1 system in his bedroom, and it is overpriced even for that. It will not do for a larger room at all, wether two channel or surround.

Lol, his wifes parents purchased it for them, so he put it in the bedroom. He comes over our house to watch movies.

WAY overpriced crap. Most, if not all of their money is spent on marketing.
Even $50 each speakers such as Sony are better for a small room.
