Saw a nice looking deck boat on the 101 at 35 Ave today. Looked to be a new delivery from CA. Did not get a pic but the boat looked real nice. It has an interesting dual integrated boarding step thing going on. Anybody know if these are any good?

concept1 here on the boards has one. it is a nice boat! imo there needs to be another step (or some kind of ladder) below the last step to make it easier to get on the steps when you are in the water :)

Very nice boat, and they seem to run real well and make the most of their given power.

I have been on a Next recently and I can tell you that they are very, very nice boats. Brent has put a ton of thought into the rigging and finish of the crafts, and they are great performers throughout the range. I would like to see more audio (shocker.. ;) ) but otherwise they are a really nice deck with a lot of features I am sure folks would be very interested in owning.

They are a solid built boat. Laveycraft does the paint and gel.

Brent Leach is building them. (That's Bob Leach's son). So even though they are new, they've actually come from the Eliminator family. You won't have any issues that you may have with a start up company.

They also do the upholstery @ Lavey, they were doing a Next deck there when my 26' was in production. Looks like a decent boat. With Lavey doing some of the work you know it will be a quality boat IMO.

And Brent is a great guy with a lot of talent, both driving and designing.

I think Brent has moved the layup to Eliminators new facility and out of Lavey's.
