Just talked to a guy zooming through the neighborhood on one and he had nothing but good to say over his Rhino.
Any new RZR owners with some first hand experience?

Just purchased one in June and we or should I say my Wife just loves it...Tons of power...You just need to respect the power and be realistic with the way it handles that power with its design...

I drove one.
Definitely more power than a Rhino out of the box.
A Rhino with the PDM clutch and CDI runs about the same as a stock RZR does. At least, that is what it felt like to me after driving one after the other.

The rzr kills the rhino up to its factory speed govener. Pretty sure its capped at 55 mph right now unless you do some clutch work.
did you see the race where the rzr beats the rhino bad to 55 then a while later the rhino with the sheave/boltons pases it up slowly?:D
I bet it's faster than yours;)

I drove one with $1200 of bolt on engine mods and it went 64. My business partner and I are getting ready to build one to race. I still prefer my Rhino because of the size.

I've been helping a good friend with his. We've been riding together for almost 30 years. He got the first one in our area and has had several issues with it, some minor and some not so minor. The biggest problem was the front diff grenading and some issues with the top end of the motor. The motor was probably an assembly issue as it developed on the first ride. Most of the minor issues came up on the first few rides, so we are hoping these are just early production issues and not some inherent problem with the design or production. Like everyone else said, it will stomp a Rhino, (except when rock-crawling or trying to rock-crawl, due to limited ground clearance). Overall, I have been very impressed with it and the dealer has been easy to deal with on the warranty issues. Parts availability is sometimes limited and slow to come through the dealer, though.

Just drove one for the first time today about 3 hours ago. All I can say is WOW. stock motor with all the TCB or CB stuff on it including LT kit. Broke the tire free on concrete and asphalt.
The best part of the whole deal regardless of how BAD I want one is the each time I looked back my kids weren't there and there was no way for them to fit making me VERY content with our Rhino.
All said if 2 seats gets you done take a hard look at the RZR. If four seats are in your future stick with ole tried and true.

Edit: I guess if I had Mike's money I would have one of each. ;)

Good looking rig... I bet at a sandy duney place it'll be a blast!..But it looks like it rides a bit low for me. On the Rhino I've already cracked the plastic bottom guard on the rear in the rocks outside Moabi and replaced it with a metal one, and I bent a rear CV boot guard (an after- market metal one) on the right rear climbing it up to Stoddard Mine last weekend. Based on the minimal damage to the Rhino at the rough places I like to go, I think I'd rip the bottom out of the RZR and be walking home unless it's lifted a bit.

Forget about it Mel. You'll never fit in it trust me. My g/f and I went and sat in one and our shoulders were pushed up against each other. Just wayy too narrow for my liking.
