Why would it take 10 to 15 years to replace conventional tires?
Perfect them and get em on the market. :hammer2:

Inventory, and to replace the tire....you have to replace the rim as well. Wonder if they make them in 24's? :D

I call on the R&D people in Greenville. The rims would not be replaced. The delay is in sufficient safety testing, achieving acceptable wear, and handling / ride at highway speeds.

As long as they don't wear out the rim.
They better test those out for about 10 years first.

Those things are Fugly...........but a cool idea.
Alot of our BMW's now ride on the runflats....that look normal. :p
