Does anyone make a smaller (26' or less) open bow cat/deck with (and here are the kickers:idea: ) a walk-thru open bow and windshield(s)???
Thanks!

Howard Custom Boats (http://www.howardboats.com/) has a 26 cat. I do recall seeing one as an open bow walk-thru...but no windshield.
I believe that DCB made/makes an open bow walk-thru F 26...

The website show's a walk under open bow - http://www.eliminatorboat.com/E2.cfm
Do they also make a walk-thru?

Im pretty sure any "custom" boat builder that has a canopy model will also do a walk through for you. ;) It might not be a popular option, but I have seen ti before on quite a few different builders boats.

Yes, they do make it in a walk thru. I almost bought a 25' open bow walk thru before ordering my 27' open bow walk thru.

A couple I spoke with didn't like the walk thru option because of concerns over hull strength/flex. But it seems like your right, if they're doing a custom build wouldn't there be a way to put in some extra bracing, etc.?

more info...
With used boat market being so soft, I have been looking in the classifieds but not quite finding the configuration I was looking for. It thought if I could find the a manufacturer that makes one this way, it would be easier to do an online search.
Thanks again.

the new 26 stealth Vhull have the full canopy and the 32 will. So far the electric windscreens are the ticket for our customers
this is a example of the walk thru.

H2O,
Eliminator makes 25,26 and 27 Daytona's in an openbow walk-thru with the ICC style windshields. The bulkheads are placed in a manner that does not allow any "flexing". I have a 27 Daytona openbow/walkthru and have run it at 80mph with no problems. Come to the factory and let me show you around.

I think Shockwave has a 26' Cat that fits your discription. And I know they have some great deals going on right now. You should contact Chris the sales manager at 951-898-9360. Good luck with your search.

Take a look at Next, a new look and some unique features. And performance that is unmatched in a deckboat period. If you don't believe me just check your PB mag.74.9 mph with 496 HO. No one is even close! or 109 and change with teague 800, again no one even close. If you do your homework you will find many other mfg. tested with same power.OO sorry i don't have 10,000 posts.www.nextcustomboats.com

It's not the lack of 10,000 posts... it is the fact that all three are pretty self serving... that coming from the king of spam... me!
BTW... we just turned 75 on the 496 in Tennessee, stock lower, stock 26 prop with a huge stereo and the ramp, hitting the limiter. So I would say some are not only close... but past those numbers. Turns out I should have broken in the motor before bringing it to the evaluations... Lesson learned...

I was hoping for something used actually, to try and take advantage of the buyer's market.

Best deal on an open bow that I know of is the 29' Carrera mid cabin open bow owned by our very own Steve Warner from Truckin Magazine. It's in
the spam section. Call me if you have any questions like how much$$$$>
You'll like the price.

I have a 26 eliminator walk thru bowrider. Love the room and ease of getting from the front to the back. Only problem is it takes plenty of HP to get boat over 100. When you are in the front seats you have no wind. Middle of back seat has a little breeze since the wind comes in from the walk thru area.
Eliminator will take a regular boat and add a bowrider in the front but I do not think they will make it a walk thru. But I have not asked if they would.
Before I ordered this boat I looked at the Howard Cat. The Howard reminded me of by old jet boat with low freeboard. The Eliminator feels like a lot bigger boat.
