I'm thinking of a trip to vegas for a couple of weekday nights (Monday through Thursday). Who knows which hotels offer the best (cheapest) rates for the off peak weekdays? I'm looking to save money on the hotel so it can be spent elsewhere.. Who spends time in their hotel while in Vegas anyway?? :p

You're very smart to keep it to midweek. Pretty much all of the hotels have better rates Mon-Thurs. Just to do some shopping around. If you go to a search engine and find a low rate, check the actualy website of the hotel and it's usually a little bit less. Good luck!

I was looking at the Stratoshpere website last night. They have a mid-week package for around $250 for 2 nights and day spa treatment for 2. I thought it sounded good.
I'm going to stay there in May (weekend) for Supercross. Best price I found was on Vegas.com.

Sweet! Dates would be the 6th through the 8th and possibly stay to the 9th if the price is right. I'll shoot you a PM too.

the downtown casinos have some good weekday rates. if you looking for real cheap and don't mind driving 15 minutes to the strip. go to jean, during the week you can get rooms for around $25.00, even less if you have a CDL (commercial drivers license). Gold Strike and Nevada Landing are the casinos there, they are not real nice but if you just looking for a cheap place to crash.

For the Money, Bally's usually has the most competetive rates on the strip, and the hotel is still classy.
No Rats, decent carpet, and real tile in the bathrooms. (Not like Laughlin :) ) Good 'ol River Roaches on the riverwalk!

Fr a non-casio hotel we liked the Doubletree (there are 2 in Vegas) by the Convention center.
Short hike to the Monorail and quick taxi ride to the strip. Decent rates, free cook to order breakfast and 2 hour all you want cocktail hour with munchies. Two room suites as well. I think we paid $110 and it was a bumper weekend.

We have stayed at the ghetosphere on weekdays before for 25.00 per night. But the Tuscany (www.tuscanylasvegas.com) Is a great hotel for the money. Every room is a suite, very large rooms nice hotel and just one block off the strip behind Bally's. You will like it. Check it out. :crossx: :crossx:

No kidding??? Motion activated A/C.
I'll bet that saves them a ton-o-money but yeah that whould suck coming back into a hot room.
Interesting, and I wonder if the $$$ savings offset the expense of guests never ccoming back???

I forgot about the Tuscany!!! Great place, great rates and great location. You should try this place.
Oh, and there are a few places that now have topless pool areas, including the Strat, Mandalay, Caesars and maybe other places.
