Can anybody recommend a place for Mexican food (carne asada tacos, tacos al pastor) not too far from the intersection of Chapman & Harbor? (needs to be open for dinner and have a liquor license if possible)
Thanks! :)

not any more. (unless this was some type of extremely-inside joke; in that case...are you really going to find a good mexican food place in garden grove?)

I think your thinking of the one that was on Katella and State College by Angel Stadium. That one is gone, but there is a El Torrito grill in the Stadium Lofts there now.;)

Los Sanchez at Harbor and Garden Grove Blvd. It's about 2 miles S. of Chapman. That's some good eats and cheap too. They used to have beer and their old location, not sure if they have a full license at the new location.
Little bastard above beat me to it.

Thanks everybody! Looks like Los Sanchez is the place (I called them and they serve beer). I checked out their taco menu:
Chicken
Carnitas (pork)
Barbacoa (beef)
Asada (char-broiled beef)
Super Taco
Shrimp Taco
Al Pastor (pork)
Lengua (tongue)
Ground Beef
Chorizo con Papas
Taco de Tripa
Taco de Chicharron
That's exactly what I was looking for. :)
Thanks again everybody.

Their Barbacoa is the best I've ever had, but I get it in a burrito.

Now that your full...Whats up...:confused:In town for a conference. Gotta present something tomorrow so preparing that tonight while sipping some cold ones in the hotel room. Between all that, continuing to venture out for food that I can't get in Tampa (like In-N-Out, decent Mexican food, and shabu shabu). :)

We like the place on Brookhurst just south of Ball called Casa Gamino (not the same one that is in Westminster either). Good food, and I think they have a full bar.
Usually we hit Taco Surf in Los Al though.....about 2-3times/month.
