I really need to work less and river more.
A few pics for those who miss it already.
Heading up river in front of Echo...nice water all weekend!

Spent a little time here.:) Nice mods to the structure. Were sitting there last Monday eating Prime Rib Tacos and watching them install flat screens. They said Monday Night Football or else. We left for home around 4:00pm. Would have liked to help break those puppies in. Not the same old RR.:)

And here...Samacked up a few new dollars the kids drew on.

Kids had a blast. We make them wear those nice soft Neoprene Vests anytime they are even near the water. At RR and Fox's we never let them off. They stopped complaining about it long ago. Water was actually still OK to stand in waist deep.:D

Sundance Pontoon :( not looking so sea worthy. Sundance is falling apart and really looking like shit. Someone should pull this boat out and remove all the loose and decaying crap lying around and floating about. Sad.

First this summer ?
You were serious!
Ya need to work-over that callendar a bit harder.
I wonder if Sundance would be willing to sell the sunken Pontoon boat?
Might be a good restoration project.

I am suprised that the cops allow that pontoon boat to sit submerged with the engine submerged....you have the risk of allowing oil and gas to get into the water....just seems like mess that could be avoided..

Totally agree,im sure there is some kind of red tape oR something as to why it just sits boat and bar rusting away.I say wait until they drop the river this year and bulldose it.

Yep the one and only trip to the river this year. We did squeeze off a trip to Pismo for a week but other than that...vacations are a bit skinny over here.:)

Well just consider the shrinkage factor. :D I read 70. That might be correct for down river. We just could not take the temps up by Parker Dam. Brrrrrrrr. Water was Thursday low most of the 4 days we were there. You can stand right in the middle of the river in Glass Alley mid day on Sat.

I agree with you 100%. I don't smoke but what is the fine for tossing a cigarette butt in the water? Sundance has turned into one giant BUTT. It needs to go. The owner should be given some sort of positive or negative incentive to clean it up. It's not just the look of it but all the decaying shit floating under it. One of the docks is ready to tear loose as well. Last year we had a thread on here about how cool it would be to resurrect it. I pass. Way to fockin gone now.

That would be the time. I think thats usually in March:confused: . We did roll past a huge impeller being installed into Hegegate. Usually they wait for the low week but not this time.
I have a few more pics. I will work it, work it, work it.:)

Very nice and thanks. We will be at Calico over T-Day doing a little wheeling providing I get my lift finished.
I have only been to Dumont once about 20 years ago. Would love to go again. My kids have quads and love the sand. Next time you go let me know.

We had the new owners come out a few weeks ago. Several of the floats from the old floating dock broke loose when it turned over earlier this year. They secured the docks as well as they could.
As far as the old shuttle boat, the portable gas tanks were removed, so there's no gas/oil getting in the river. As long as it doesn't affect navigation, there's nothing we can do about it. Let it sink.
The owners are waiting for a zoning change to tear it down, and replace it with "High Density Residential". (Condos)
But with the real estate market the way it is right now, I'm not sure they didn't get into it a little too late (or early).
