Boat Property Tax storage location question:

We live in Ventura County.
Our new boat is stored in San Bernadino County.
We just got the Ventura Co. Tax Assessors questionair on the boat value ect.
It asks "where is the boat stored?"
If I write down our boat is stored in SB Co. will we thus eventually get a Tax enquiry/bill from SB County?

Yes, but only after Ventura County has called you a liar, and made you prove the boat is stored in SB county more than 50% of the time.....Like a pit bull, once they get a scent, and a small grip, they never let go. Expect the same BS next tax year.............and NEVER bring your boat to the house, not even for overnight.........Oh yeah, failure to prove or pay and the pricks will impound the property for back taxes. They tried that on me about a boat that was never in Ventura County, and was sold 3 years prior to the "Siezure in lieu of taxes order"........Then they tried to attach the house for the boat taxes.....Morons...........MP
