Rumor has it Coco lost his other leg, that sucks, he is a cantankerous old fart, but he has stories and history, if you know someone going by the corner, send him some money!!!!

Wow, I hadn't heard about Coco... I won't be going that far South this year since they changed the race course away from Gonzaga Bay, but Some of the guys from the club are pitting a friend just South of there and I will pass along the info tomorrow at the club meeting.

My Off Road club will be going and I offer an open invitation to anyone who wants to tag along and experience this event. I will be leaving San Diego EARLY Monday morning to go to Ensanada for the contingency(All the racers line up and there is a big party complete with Tecate girls) Then we will go to race mile 65 to watch the race. Any car can make it to this point, just plan to camp until Tuesday when the race happens. The roads to where we will be observing this year are paved 90% of the way and the last 10% is a graded dirt road. It is a Perfect 1st time experience for Mexico and the beer never stops flowing

Go to Race-dezert.com. A lot of information, the SCORE website is about the worst piece of shit around, never quality information, we paid over 4500 to race this year in entry fee's and they cant supply a web site worth a crap!!

If I'm not mistaken, the race starts @ 6am Tuesday from Ensanada. Maybe 10-11 for the Trophy trucks. If you want to watch it further along you had better get there early. It goes East to Ohos Negros before turning south. Just Go to Ensanada and follow the hwy#3 signs to get to Ohos Negros. A LOT of people will be watching it there, but it tends to get Crazy with drunkards throwing beers and fighting. If you follow the Hwy #3 to Agua Blanca the locals (or other observers) will be able to tell you where to go to watch. I would recommend this if you dont want to tag along with my group. We go West from Aqua Blanca along that graded dirt road and have a lot less people to contend with.
