Is one of these two carriers better than the other?
I've flown NWA a few times and didn't find them particularly good but there were no gear up landings, or anything.

I do know that NW is the only mainstream airline to still be flying the DC-9 - not MD 80 etc, but 100 passenger, made in the 70's and 80's, DC freakin-9.

When worked at McDonnell Douglas in Long Beach years ago NWA came in and said they wanted to fly their DC-9 series 30 airplanes another 30 years

Thanks, Brian.
Now I'm going to fly NWA as a show of support for their anti-communist effort.
