So after seeing the thread with the guy on the bike with 36" apes and 12" risers. im thinkin maybe i like the ape bar look. Ive been debating between Apes and some Beachbars...but not sure how either would look on my deluxe. i found this site that has animated(?) pics of stock vs. different bars. my question is does anyone know of any other sites that have this. would like to see some more before i pull the trigger.

Just say NO
Imagine all the blood rushing out of his arms and making his arms go numb real quick.

I think you should get the apes, move to east L.A. Get some big white walls, lower the bike so low you cant make a turn, chrome the swing arm, fringe the seat, and oh yea, hang one of those long braided grip lines that hang down below the tank, and then top it off with a set of straight pipes, so obnoxously loud they make you ears bleed, and screem...
HEY LOOK AT ME EVERYONE, I NEED SOME ATTENTION!!
I been on Harley's for many years, and I can say it pisses me off to no end when the law makers make new laws, but I gotta say I cant believe they reversed the ape hanger law....
We call them tingle bars!!!

Here's my motorcycle buying advice for the day. If it doesn't have clips ons, and it's not a dirt bike, it's likely a peice of shit.:D

I believe anything above shoulder height here is a ticket and a tow truck ride home. As well it should be. Honestly, how much control can you have with bars that ridiculously high.
Now for the drag pipe comment, I had some drags on my Sporty and liked them until I hit the highway for any distance geezas talk about fatigue. But for around town and the numb nutz blue hairs there's no better warning system to let them know you're there.
Give me a nice stock dressed out Electra with some mellow pipes and buckhorn bars mmmmm Heaven on wheels....;)
