Speaking of trainwrecks, this is my claim to fame, from december, 1994. I was stopped at Cajon, waiting for an Amtrak to get around me, and these guys lost thier brakes and rearended my standing loaded coal train. After teh dust cleared, this is what was left of the Santa Fe train..not much...when I say I am a been there done that engineer, you can take that to the bank..

Undisturbed rest is bullshit to start with!!! I have 8 hours coming to me and they call me for my next job after 6.5? So, I drive home for an hour, jump in the shower and go right to sleep without talking to my family, and I'm called 6.5 hours after I tie up. That's 5 hours sleep max! Got a bid in to be a dickscratcher, wouldn't that be funny? Me Ds'n for you!

CP, almost every day...I had two tenage girls get that close a couple weeks ago....stood not three feet to the side fo the train as I went by at 80....just smiling at me...I was thinking wow, I hope they don't get sucked in....they didn't, but it was close.....but every day I deal with these issues...
