don't have this problem with my Sony unit in my Rhino, I'd make sure you have it grounded really good.

Aftermarket CDI? If so, it is the reason for your electrical noise.

A clicking is probably EM interference from the ignition. Try aluminum foil shielding on each area individually (speakers, deck), and see if it disappears. If it goes away, try to shield that area permanently.

Does your antenna have a FM amp inline?
Try www.rhinoforums.net there are a ton of people there that I know that could give you other suggestions.

i dont think so,it is a 3 foot cord with a rubber antenna that plugs into the deck.

yeah true, make sure the base is grounded. This is where I have my antenna installed. Works great.

Dont forget to build yourself a helmet out of foil as well so the aliens cant eat your brains.

I heard he even read the owners manual:eek:
Back to the subject, why even bother to have a stereo in a SXS?

I was researching CDI's, and one of the down sides to the Dynatec CDI is that it causes radio interference.

Oh, and just because it doesn't have the Dynatec label on it doesn't mean it's not a Dynatec CDI. They make them for a lot of companies to private label.
