So Lake Pleasant was a blast yesterday. Had Humbug to ourselves and a few troublemakers even made a few speed runs back in the cove. :idea:

I really love my boat now. Hot water 'n all!!!
We spent the night in that cove called Paul's Hideaway or something like that. It is the first big cove on the left when making that right turn towards Humbug from the main body of water.
One more thing... After this weekend, I can now confirm... I hate sailboaters.

It is cool for a local lake, but to tow your boat from Havasu for a day there, you'll be disappointed.
Actually, you'll save gas boating on Pleasant compared to Havasu.

Next time someone goes out on Pleasant,, PM me a damned invite. I've never been out on there and would like to make it out with someone who knows where the hell to go.:D

It is kind of like all the DCBs that go from the launch ramp straight to the channel and beach it all day.
However at Pleasant, the ride to Humbug is longer and you anchor instead of beaching it.

I'll drop off a gate key for you today. I'm planning on making a run out there one of these days. The bilge pump works and there wasn't enough water (or oil) to even kick out a drop between Friday and Sunday. Shore power is on as is the battery charger. ;)
That starboard engine is burning some oil now though. Ran though 2 qts from the Marina to the north ramp and back. :sqeyes: :jawdrop:

Well, I couldn't make the driver's meeting for two reasons:
1. Work. I had to change the oil in the french fry machine that day.
2. Cost. I'm not sure I had enough money to pay at the "Snobsdale Toll Booth". Us fast food workers are only allowed past if we are wearing our paper hats, polyester, and name badges.
However, to quote myself from the other thread:

Yeah, I can see that happening. The way they have that place setup is just an enticement for people to end up in that bar. Very poor planning on thier part. :notam:

Yes indeed. And with all the couches, chairs, TV's, and pretty cocktail girls, I've gotten lost in that maze before. Had to wait until they were closing things out to follow other people who had suffered a similar experience as myself, to guide me out. :idea: :D

Did you get your new diverter setup yet? Whats your new top speed? I get my headers back on saturday and the new cams already in. And the diverter will be here next week. :D

Could be rigging problem, you know how those speedo pick tubes leak if not properly installed:D :D It may not be sea worthy. I'd get it checked by a surveyer:jawdrop: :jawdrop:
