any why. Im looking at getting something like the Motorola Q. The new Voyager is ok.... but it opens up. I dont want anything that flips or opens up. Prefer something that I dont need one of those sticks to use. Internet access would be cool..... but not decision based. I have 400 plus numbers and just want a good phone to use. My kids are kicking my ass in texting so need something to handicap me ;) Oh, and maybe less than $200..... unless they take food stamps.

The Krazors are pretty cool and small. I hate big phones..might be picking one of these up shortly.

Mine says "Uniden Power Max 2.4GHZ Digital Spread Spectrum". I have no idea what that means, but it was some serious state of the art shit, 7 years ago when I bought it.:D

I'd like to have an iPhone, however with an open faced phone I end up calling people unknowingly when I sit down. Not so much a problem during the day, but a real problem when I've been out drinking
So I maintain a Flip Phone only policy :D

I phone screen locks so you won't accidently call any one. Wife and I have one, best phone I have ever owned only complaint is I wish the speaker was louder.

Bump on the treo. It has some nice features but mine locks up on me at the worst times. I like using AOL on it.

Motorola Razr2.
I'm not a phone guy and like simple stuff - like actually being able to flip a flip phone; loud speaker; and easy navigation of menus. I never cared for the original Razr, and didn't have many expectations for the Razr2.
Boy was I wrong - this thing is really nice. I already have it pimped out with about 350 songs and use it in my car as an MP3 player. It's thin too, but you can still get a thumb on the edge and flip it, for one-handed operation.
I started out this summer with a LG8700 stainless- which looks nice, but is a POS. My wifey has a Black Cherry Chocolate. The Chocolate has a better MP3 player and better bells and whistles, but functionally i think the LG phones suck azz.

I have had a Q now for 13 months. This is my 2nd one. First one lasted a year, and then I did a warranty replacement on it.
I have the extended battery also, and that lasted a year before needing a new one.
Phone seems to be OK for me. Sometimes it does not function correctly, but 98% of the time it works just fine.
Someone said it didn't do picture messaging??? I can send and receive both pictures and videos. It works well.
I use about 3500-4000 minutes per month overall.

I also use the Q & think it's great - like Magic34. I did have 1 break, Verizon replaced it no questions asked. The extended battery helps out a lot but does make it a little fatter. You can do text with messages, but the phone calls it something different - something like an MMS message. Good Luck.
