Watching Sooper Scoopers

Lake Pacific is really flat today and they're showing some great shots of the sooper scoopers picking up water right next to the Malibu fires...

Quite a few years ago we went out on Pyramid Lake, just past Castaic, and got a front row seat not only for the super scooper but quite a few helicopters too. The forrest was burning close by and they stayed busy all day. It was amazing to watch the scooper hug the mountains comming in, barely missing the tree tops and pick up thousands of gallons of water so close to us.
