Driving a boat. My dad had a turquois 1969 Shell Lake. It was 16 foot long with a Mercruiser80 hp. Renault powered stern drive. She topped out at about 32 mph :sqeyes: It was a really long time ago.. but stuff like that you never forget..

Merc had a Renault 4 cyl. over head cam engine they used.. The engine had NO motor mounts.. It was supported by the transom only..

Made in Shell Lake Wisconsin... It was quite a popular boat in Wisconsin.. I still see them around once and a while.
