I want to convert my MPEG files to MP4's so I can view them on my ipod. What is the best converter out there? $$ isnt an issue. I am looking for a good solid program that is fast and easy to use. Any ideas would be appreciated.

DVDFab, The free dvd decriptor works great, the Ipod converter will cost you, but it's fast and hassel free.

I'm just starting to use the video features on my video Ipod. Last night though I D/L'ed a complete movie, converted it through Videora, and imported it into Itunes, then down to my Ipod.
I found instructions for using a STANDARD video camera to RCA cord instead of the spendy Ipod cord. The trick is the colors down't match up, if you connect it as follows though, and use the Ipod for adjusting sound, it works great....
Cord into Ipods headphone jack, then on the TV....
Plug the red RCA plug into your TV's yellow RCA jack.
Plug the yellow RCA plug into your TV's white RCA jack.
Plug the white RCA plug into your TV's red RCA jack.
Fun stuff, and it didn't cost me a dime extra!!! ;)
