Help computer question?

Well here is my problem I have a router that I bought a few years ago and never got it to work well afew weeks ago we got it to work well I screwed it up I pushed a button on it and now the computer does not respond to it,can any one help me out?

Shutdown your computer. Unplug the router. Unplug the modem. Plug in modem, wait 10 mins. Plug in router, wait a few mins, reboot.
Thats enough to fix most probs. Do it in that order.

Sounds like a residential router that plugs into your dsl, cable, or T1 modem????
Sounds like you reset it. The default ip adress for most is 192.168.0.1, you can type this adress into any adress bar on your computer and it may take you to a config screen, also the default user & password is usually admin & admin however if you can plug right into your modem, go on the website of the manufacture to download the users guide. I'm thinking you don't have it anymore, that's why you are posting here.:)
