this is insane. i hate crowded days. HB cliffs was macking today, secret spot in laguna was breaking, only breaks about 2 times a year.

You gotta love these big swells that the media hypes up, everyone and there brother are out at the big name spots.
So there are already 2 guys (1 too many) up and riding closest to the take off spot, the guy deepest should get the wave but as you look down the line there are atleast 13 guys still scratching for it -tottally oblivious- and atleast 8 of them look commited like they are going. LOL total chaos. You wont see this at Honoloa Bay. Ive surfed there when it was big and perfect and not a single wave went to waste or had more than one guy on it.. Well organized with a pecking order like it should be.
Sorry Im just bitter about the crowds.

Oh hell know, I'm an old long boarder at heart, I like to cruise the waves plus the water is so f'ing cold right now, I'm a puss when the water gets below 65*... Sunday I'm hitting potato shack for breakfast then walking to Swamis to check it out, should be a good scene... :)
