I keep getting a call on my cell phone from some company (BUREAU OF RECOVERY) They have been calling my cell phone for 2 months 3 or 4 times a day. They have the wrong number and i have told them that every single time. I have registered with the do not call list on 11-17-07. I have told them that as well. They still call me 3-4 times a day. I have stopped answering it but it still gets old. They were running up my minutes when i did answer it,should i answer it to have a record of them calling me day after day? How can i stop this other then getting a new number? Give the number a call and you will see what kind of company this is. Lots of energy there. Its even a 866 number for you.Maybe its time to harrass them for a change.http://***boat.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=44946&d=1197327541

Get thier address, notify them in writing, and if it continues, file a complaint with the FCC. I'm not sure if you can file a complaint against them under the Fair Trade Reporting act being as you aren't the target of their calls...

Find out what state they operate under and contact their attorney generals office to file a complaint. A call from the AG of your state usually will grab your attention.

Use some patience and kindly ask the person calling to remove your number from their "cue". If you butt heads or ignore the call, they will not remove the number. It takes a little bit of time to get out of their cue, but speaking nicely to them works far better than yelling at them (of course, you might have to tell several peeps).
This is pretty common with 800 numbers, and I speak from experience, lol :)
