and thought it would be nice if we mailed Christmas cards to Windy.

I think I heard that last week was the deadline for mail to reach Iraq before Christmas. Don't know if that just applied to packages or letters as well, nor do I know if applies to Kuwait... Just what I heard on the news.

Last I heard it took 6 days for Windy to receive a package....I just got home from the post office. Sent out her Christmas package. Hope it gets there in time. :)

I sent her a card last week. Also, I want to mention that they just need regular postage. (unless the envelope says extra postage required, then stick an extra stamp on there :) )

Dangit! I have a box of homemade candy, cookies, and magazines just waiting for me to get home in time to mail it. Regardless, it's getting mailed tomorrow, cuz I'm leaving work early. I'm a rebel that way. :D

We have some Boy Scouts organizing a campaign to mail Christmas cards to soliders in Iraq. I had the kids at my school write out about 80 and dropped them off at the Scout House today. The deadline for that is tomorrow.
The mailbox etc. guy said that the smaller the package, the quicker it will get to Iraq.
