I was paying some bills on Quicken and ran a fuel report for grins.
12 months personal fuel costs for everything = $5500.
Not too bad I guess.:idea:

I just ran a report and I'm a bit over $4000 this year through Oct (still have to enter the numbers for Nov and Dec) for automotive but that includes about $1000 or so I spent on tires/oil changes/misc repairs this year.

$10,920.00 just in the Tahoe for my personal use:mad: . This does not include my wifes car, but she is right around $4500 herself. Now throw in the kids gas and the baot gas....starting to look like I need a second job.

Personal, I have no clue. This year I have spent over $7,000 in fuel for just my truck. In the next month or two Ill sit down and figure it out for taxes. Off the top of my head, I'm guessing 3k is personal.
Then theres oil changes...
When I drove the diesel I had to do it less and it cost me $60 to do it myself. Now with the gasser I do it twice as much at $30. So that pretty much evens out. I drive over 3k miles a month during the winter and well over 4k in the summer(river trips). So figure oil changes once a month.

nothing.. my wife has a company gas card (ARCO) that we are allowed to use for our personal vehicles and even the boat. Considered as part of her pay. Not sure what the total is at the end of the year?

I figure this year I am about
30,000 miles on truck at 15 mpg avg (3.10 avg price per gallon) = 6200
Boat = 1800 (2 trips per mo @ 150 per weekend for 6 months)
Her car= 3625 (30k @ 24 mpg @ 2.9 avg gas for 91)
Toy Hauler= 500 (10 trips @ $50 in gas per trip)
Total= 12,125

You have to know what the total is at the end of the year as you get a 1099 on it and have to report it as income. What it saves is some withholding for items like FICA.

Yep...I am also a HATER! :)
Personal is only about $6500 or so. Not bad considering we don't have a single economy car.
Business Diesel for trucks is topping $ 19,000. :eek:
Way up from last year.

Company credit cards for both of us and the boat. :D Which now reminds me that I have to figure to have to pay for my own gas when I retire in 8 years. :(

I try not to look a prices or even think how much I spend, i'm no baller but I stay to filling up a truck stops. There I know will be in the lower ranges of prices. I fill up twice a week on my work truck in the $110 range. A buddy of mine goes through 1,000 gals a week on his 5 f-450 utility trucks and some tractor equipment but then again I consider him a baller. Golden rule= Spend money to make money.

I figure $85 to fill my truck (gas). I get about 12 - 13 mpg on an average. I go to havi every other week for work. I probably have spent since july about $4000 in gas. In 2006 I was afraid to figure the gas bill. I filled my truck every day and at that time it cost me $75 a day

I drove a f-250 super duty diesel to work every day until the wife rolled it. Everyone was ok. I now drive a Neon to work and am saving $200 a month on fuel:sqeyes: When i'm done pay'n support i'm go'in shopping again for a truck again. But i'm keeping the Neon for going to work. It doesnt seem like alot but it adds up after a while.

Shiiiiiiiit, as a broke college student, I don't want to know what I've spent in fuel on my truck. Ah what the hell.
Truck has 114,100 miles on it today. Had 95,500 when I got it at the end of March 2007. That's 18,600 miles. Since the end of friggin March. Figure 15 MPG @ $3 gallon, and I get $3720. Weird. I thought it would have been more than that. Figure I spend $5000 - 6000 on fuel a year, including the boat. :mad:

it is simple...just that every one has a choice...and to quit complaining...
we can take the truck, or the bike, or not go at all...
and i am sure everyone can do the same...
BUTT the drama, and complaining:( all the damn time...:rolleyes:
