I am looking for pictures of a Sub / Tahoe on 20's or 22's. I am thinking about buying one (Suburban) and am trying to figure out how to make it look cool.

Go to tirerack.com, I think you can bring the model of your car up and try different rims and tires.

How much is it lowered and did it effect the ride?

3 inches in the rear and 2 inches in the front. It has Autoride so it can be adjusted in the back. It gave it a more sporty feel. It is still a very comfortable and quiet ride.

I really like your Tahoe with 22's but I think with as much as I drive, 20's would be better for me because the compound of the tire is harder on the
20" tires so the tread will last longer. I would ultimately prefeer 22's, but for that reason I think 20's would be better in my application. I may be wrong though, what are people getting out of mileage on 22's?

You are going to get just as many miles out of the 22" tire as the 20".
On the new Tahoes/Suburban, the 20s will look like 17s. I suggest at least a 24". You would be very surprised how much tire is there on a 24". You will get just as many miles as the 22 because you can fit a good size tire on it without giving up any ride or tire life.
My neighbor bought a new Escalade ESV and he was going to do 22s on it and I talked him into 24s. It looks a ton better than the guy 2 streets over that put 22s on his.
I have been looking at new Suburbans also, and I am going 26 if I do it. It looks really clean. A budy just did one like INI's he just posted, but my buddy went 26. it looks very clean.
The wheel wells are just too damn big to go with a 20 or 22. Go 24.

Looks great!
Look at this picture though, it is also lowered. If you didn't lower it, your tire could be a lot bigger.
24s on tires are $3500.
22s on tires are $2200 or so.

No I am running Toyo Proxies 305/35/24 on it. Ride is very quiet and just as smooth as stock. had to trim a little, but you would have to seach hard to find where.

You would really be surprised that the difference is not much, but the look is way different like Magic34 said. We were goingto do 26's, but my buddy did it and he has put some miles on the tires and the sidewalls are separating. Could be an isolated issue, but I like the 24's. You would be surprised. There is alot of tire with 24's still.

..good to know that worked out, I am runnin 305/35 Pirelli Assimetrico's ($1700 for all btw HPB83) and they rub now figured I'd have to trim for lowering.

Go to www.cardomain.com they have tons of cars and trucks on there, and you can get some really good ideas. Also people are usually more than willing to answer questions about there rides.-Scott
