They are (were) made in Abilene Texas. The hull design is from Bill Seebold. I have seen them in person and are pretty sharp boats. As far a quality, I am not sure. I know that some of the guys that built the Tige skiboats worked for Emerald for a while, but that is about it.

I don't know why but I find these off the wall boats that I like. I should probably just buy a Baja. ????????

Go look at the boat. Seebold racing has been around for a while and prolly has a pretty good hull design. Look at the craftsmanship and then choose. I know the Emerald was aquired by Senticor, why I dont know, but I dont think they are around anymore. Abilene has a mud hole for a lake that is very small and will stain any fiberglass boat that goes into it for very long. Hard place to set up a performance boat builder.
Nothing wrong with Bajas
