View Full Version : How to inject Mr. Bubble

What's the best way to inject Mr Bubble into the jet? Would replacing the hand hole with a flat piece of SS with a threaded hole for the injector work? Your explanation on your setups would be appreciated. http://free.***boat.net/ubb/wink.gif

Funny you should mention this. I friend of mine keeps saying that his boat is faster than mine will be when it's done. I keep offering to "wash" his boat as proof. A little soap injector would be fun.......

Don't know what you are trying to accomplish, but that route wont get you there. If you pull your inspection plate off you will notice that it is contoured to fit the intake of the pump. If you replaced it with a flat piece of stainless, you would have created a big void that would cavitate like mad. You would have all kinds of bubbles without the aid of Mr. Bubble himself. Can you drink it with water? Can we inject Crown? I am all for that too... wouldn't be sticky. Let us know when you are going... we'll be right behind you. Just let us know what you are mixing in...

Well, I'll be the geek and point out the obvious. http://free.***boat.net/ubb/smile.gif Whatever your reasons for wanting the MR Bubble action, your going to have to make sure the pump you have acquired to dispense the stuff can push at least 50psi and you'd have to install your feed line into the suction side of the pump. You might be able to drill and tap a line into the foot of your suction housing and pray that a low pressure area is setup which will cause a siphon and pull the bubbles out of a resevoir, but if you don't get lucky, you'll be pumping pressure into the bubble line and have one hell of a mess in your MR bubble resevoir. I have another idea for you using a dead man valve and some fancy plumbing, but its top secret and can't be disclosed for fear of falling into the hands of PWC operators. Lets jus say that my death star's weapons systems will be fully operational come OP6.

Ok I am lost on this threadsomeone please shed some light on this subject. Its sounds interesting but I still cant figure it out. What does mr bubbles have to do with pwc and jet boats. Are you guys trying to shoot bubbles out of your jets or what? I am so far lost in left field!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, I had a friend do this once. It made a really cool Mr Bubble rooster. Once he got on the water he pulled the inspection cover and just poured it in. Closed the cover and off he went. His inspection cover was on the inside, is yours? http://free.***boat.net/ubb/icons/icon12.gif
OK........I can't! Don't do what I just said to do. I was only kidding

If you could hook it up like a jet ski bilge pump, you won't need any psi. It will suck it right out of the container. If you look down the nozzle of any older Kawasaki (cause they were the easiest to see) jet ski you will notice a small 1/4 inch hole at the base of the nozzle. Some modified nozzles that were bored out would have a 1/4 copper pipe in this area instead. It should protrude out about an inch and angled towards the exit of the nozzle. You should get it as close to the exit as possible. What this will do is create a vacum. You could drill a 1/4 inch hole near the exit of your nozzle and JB weld a piece of 1/4" copper pipe in the hole. Then, clamp on a 1/4" hose to it, run it into and onboard the boat. Then all you will need to do is stick the other side of the hose in a container of Mr Bubble and it will suck it right out.

I would think an old windshield fluid pump would work good and find a place to drill and tap a barb fitting(maybe in the top of inspection cover)Anyway better make sure they are bio-degradable bubbles or somebody will be on your ass. http://free.***boat.net/ubb/biggrin.gif

Geez, I thought (almost) everyone out there is using this gizmo and that I was the only one who hasn't gotten into the bandwagon. I'm really interested in that secret we can't reveal to PWC owners. http://free.***boat.net/ubb/smile.gif
Anyhow, I'm not sure if I want to drill a hole in my PD to inject (biodegradable, of course http://free.***boat.net/ubb/wink.gif ) Mr B out. I shall wait for other thoughts and ideas.
Cheers.

I'd like to know what the Fish and Game or Boat commission is going to think about such a stupid ****ing idea??? Most lakes prefer that if you have a small oil spillage, to NOT use any type of cleaning additive or soap. It does more damage than the original oil spill itself to the marine life. Are you doing this in a public lake or ****ing up your own private pond???

It sounds like a wicked idea, but Mr. Bubble is hardly biodegradable. Would something like that actually make bubbles in the air, or would you just have a bunch of dish water looking crap on the surface? Now the alcohol idea sounds a little better. A little for me, a little for the fish. Nothing like drunk fish, if they're anything like humans, get em drunk and they'll latch onto anything. http://free.***boat.net/ubb/smile.gif

Sleek, I went back and re-read that thread. Considering the idea was first mentioned by Havasu Hangin'(one of our resident comedians), yes, it was a joke. 20 years of jetting and never seen or heard of anyone actually doing this. Of course it is still fun to annoy friends by threatening to soap down their boats.......... http://free.***boat.net/ubb/biggrin.gif

Oh my god HBJet and MissHBJet are the same person!!!!!!!!!! look at their IP addresses!!.............j/k You're right I shouldn't have replied the way I did. This is how I should have replied: HBJet, I could see how someone could think that 78elim and myself are the same person, but that is not the case. We actually sit across from each other at work. We have the same IP address because we access the Internet through the same proxy server, the IP is that of our proxy, not our actual machines. I was just wanting to have some fun and bust his balls without him knowing it was me, I thought I was pretty sly until he pointed out the board shows our IP address.
