This is when I had my trailer built in LA. The dealer let me borrow a trailer to get down there(1st pic)

After it was finished being fitted to my boat and ski's I had 2 trailers to bring back. I did not want to make 2 trips so I threw it on my jet ski rack I built.

I had to wait to get back to see my new boat I ordered as it was still in the shrink wrap.

Thats funny. I can see them on my computer just fine. Still trying to find how to post pics. Do not know why I see them just fine and you see X's. Can you see the link now?

Good, did you have to click on the link or does the pic show up on its own? I must have linked the red x to my computer or something.

The other guys are just messing with you. They are chevy fans and take every chance to put down a ford.

I did change the address for the pic from my original post. So they are probably right.

No, not at all. They were red x's when the thread was first posted. :notam:
Like any of us care enough about a brokeback, I mean broke down Ford to take time away from our regular posting, and your regular wrenching schedule. :D :D :D

Nice job loading and I love the custom trailer.
Did you ever think about weighing that load? What's the GCVWR? If you go over that and have a wreck, you're insurance will back out on you like stink on poopie. Just be careful...it's cool and all to say, lookie how heavy I loaded my truck down and she still performed, but liability and safety has to be kept in check.
Yeah, I guess I'm picking on you. :boxed:

I tried that on a smaller scale with an F150 years ago. I had a VXR Pro in back, a 19' jet in tow and 4 peeps in the cab. The transmission blew right before Gordon's Well. The truck had 51,000 miles on it. There was a small fire and everything (thankfully we carry fire extinguisher's on boats).
The Ford dealer in Yuma is the best, that happened on Thursday and they had that thing fixed by Friday afternoon.

Is that a legal load??

I do not know why it would not have been unless I was over weight. The trailer was actually mounted to my jet ski rack with U bolts over the axle. The rack was then tied to the bed with clevises. I also strapped the trailer down with a bunch of ratchet straps.
I never did weigh it as in the pic. I am 20k without the extra trailer. So it is right in there. I haul heavy equip. on a 7 axle lowboy on my days off from the FD. So I'm pretty familiar with heavy loads. I am sure there is somethimg I could have been written up for. It seems you are always"illegal" for something.
It still pulled the grapevine at 70!

As a trucker for 19 years, I don't see anything wrong, as long as you are not over on your weight and eveything is straped down good, but your right they will see if they can find something, I just went out to az with a 30ft enclosed race car trailer with a f-250 4x4 and I was moving a freind I stoped at the truck stop here to scale it, and it was at 12,000 and I was like cool right on, till I lookat my tag on my trailer 3 weeks later it said 9,500  but she pulled so nice and smooth at 75MPH all the way. :rollside:

I hear ya, but the pink ones were the standard VXR's. The Pro's were Black and Yellow and were the fastest things out there in 1993!!
This was 12 years ago, man and I was 22. Not a bad setup for a 22 year old. The jet ski was my girlfriend's (I since married her and we sold the ski last year).

shadow trailers??
Yep, Was very happy with them. Build a very nice trailer to whatever you want. They just needed the boat down there before powdercoating. This was the first combo they did with a 27 footer. I originally tried with extreme as I have friend have them build one like mine but with a malibu. They did not even want to build me one. They must just like doing custom work for the big ballers. Very happy in the end though.

Very few on it. Last time t was at the dealer was in I think 02' when the 36m warrenty was up. No big recalls on the 7.3. Bigest problem I have had is damn pinion seals. Not really a Ford problem but Dana.

Well I still dont know why you bought a ford maybe cause when the thing breaks on you you can throw it on the other trailer and coast it down the hill. Should have bought a real truck.

Mine was built last May, so you must of saw someone elses trailer. They had to put a swing tongue on mine just to powdercoat it. They said there was still only 3 inches to spare. What trailer and options did you go with? They are great to work with.
