I'm looking at June HB p 119, there is a reference to transparent lexon valve covers, so you can watch the valve train moving. Sounds interesting, anyone know where to get these or how much?

Sounds cool, but what happens when the oil flims over on the inside? With my 455 and the oiling tendancies, I would be able to see just how much I put up top. http://free.***boat.net/ubb/smile.gif

SB, Those things are killer. The boat is total overkill, but a very incredible piece. I'm concerned about it running 200. The valve covers were machined from billet Lexan by the owner. As for oiling, I don't think it would hinder the view too much, as when you use a cut out valve cover for adjusting valves the oil spray is minimal. Of course we're not adjusting valves on a engine that is turning 7300 rpm either! http://free.***boat.net/ubb/biggrin.gif I bet the things would be major $$$$$$$$ if you had someone make them.
