Atlantis, Bahamas...anybody been?

What's it like? Good? Bad? Ideas?
We're looking to go there, maybe, this summer with our family and I've never been. I would be somebody has been there and has an experience to share.

I have been. It is really cool...and very expensive. Lots of aquatic stuff to view and play with. Overall, it is just like going to Vegas but in the Bahamas.

I was there this last October. Very nice place, a bit pricey, but not as pricey as I thought it was going to be. The casino isn't as big as I thought it was either. Incredible aquariums. Insane pool. Very nice rooms. Good place to bring the kids if you have them. Don't bring the wife tho, way too much shopping in the hotel. :p The worst thing about the hotel is the fact that it's in Nassau. Nassau is a sh!thole, but it's pretty fun to ride around in the cabs and watch people get run over. It's even more fun to rent a scooter and haul ass down the sidewalks. The sidewalks are actually safer than the damn streets! They drive on the wrong damn side of the road, and half the cars are left side driver, and half are right side driver, very weird. ummm lemme see.... Put it this way...the hotel would be a good destination for no more than a 3 day stay.
