We had a BLAST!! The weather was great all weekend the water could of come up a little earlier but thats the way it goes, Jason is your neck sore from the tube? you guys should see this guy on a tube, he takes one hell of a beating and keeps on going, I dont hink we had any major mechanical problems from any one that could'nt be fixed fairly easy. A great time was had by all. I wouold like to thank RivvertoysJas,Flatbroke and family for all your hard work it was well worth it. It was also really cool that www.gotriver.com (http://www.gotriver.com) and www.boatpart.com (http://www.boatpart.com) got involved and donated some really cool stuff. Ok time to go back to bed, I need to recover

Pics!
Instead of a 10 minute download;
You can either click on the links below, or go to media center and search for CBBB under Hot Boat Happenings. I only took a few pictures because I need to get card with more memory for my digital. You will notice some of these are just close ups of a larger photo.

Here is a shot of the water level on Saturday. Notice the Carrera almost completely dry. He parked at about 6AM and the water dropped another 2 feet before noon.

Boater Bill,
The caravan was pretty fun, but a bit faster than I like to drive! I noticed you hangin a bit off the back and was thinkin I should do the same.
When I was trying to catch the group on the way to Barstow, Cyclone told me on the phone they were driving slow, so I thought I would catch them. Turns out driving slow is 70 - 75 MPH!! I had been doing 70 trying to catch them. I remember the days of doing 80 MPH all the way to the river. These days, I just like to cruise and get there about half hour or so later than everyone else.
On the way home, I took route 66 to Ludlow and avoided the one-lane traffic on the 40. We went about 60 MPH and only saw a couple of cars. It was very stress-free.

Ok the high speed caravan was only my fault for part of the trip. I never got my speedometer corrected after installing the big tires and lifting my truck. But, i moved to the back of the line to keep an eye out for you two halfway to barstow. I will take full responsibility for getting everyone lost though. that was a fun detour!
