I looked at a Chaparral today that needs a new curved head door. The dealer is talking $300 to $700 (waiting for a confirmation) and I was thinking that it could possibly be fabricated. Anybody know about this? I think I will call Wayne Earl to see if they do it but thought I would check here too.

$300 would be a good deal if you didnt already have the mold, materials and know how to make it.

Darrin and i paid $515 for two doors with frames for the outside....We got the name/number from Keith Sayre at Conquest. I know they are not curved like your head door, but maybe the same guy can make yours...His wife was very nice and work was done promptly :boxed: He is in Havasu....

Thanks. WE said they could copy the busted one if I sent it in for under $400. Sounds like a good deal to me.

I'd take a dump with no door on before I spent $700 :p . My Chap for $28 is too much for ya? Was $40K new but it has 29 hours on it.

So I guess it has appreciated since we last talked  :D
Actually, I'm trying to stay under $25k. If I spend much more than that I may as well have kept the Ultra. No payment=no stress.

I so frickin fickle it depends on the day :) I had enough people in the fall nearly pleading with me to sell it at $27K (who would have thought?) I figured I'd raise the price 1K in the spring if I decide to sell it. Who knows? Actully if you wanted it I would drop the price. For now we have too many plans for the river and powell and I don't see any killer Lavey Craft out there deals. I don't want to be boatless while I shop for one.
Stay tuned the wind could change
Good luck on the search
