I purchased what I thought was a replacement cap/cover/top for my air box for my 1999.5 f350 Diesel (the top part of the two piece air box). What I got was part # XC3U-9661-AC which almost fits but does not. The Ford box that it came in has the part # XC3Z-9661-AA on it. Since I have spent 15 minutes on the internet with no luck, I surrendered and fell back on old faithful, ***boat Forums. Any for Gurus know what the part actually is that I receive vs. the part that I actuall need??

XC3U-9661-AC is the engineering part number that matches the service part number on the box- XC3Z-9661-AA.
To determine what the number is supposed to be, for what you need, I need info for the application.
Part Desired:
Vehicle Year:
Model:
Engine:
Possibly Build Date:
I can't get the app for the part you have actually fits.

I threw my air box in the trash or ida given it to you!!! why dont you spend 60 bucksand get a good k+n air filter for it??? there are cheap enough now that its not worth using a stock air filter for anything but trash in my opinion!!
Just the stock filter is pricey from ford. Resell that thing on ebay and spend your duckets on something that might improve your truck. My dos centavos

I agree and that is what I already did. I am in fact trying to sell this but don't know what it goes to.
