You can thank LUVNLIFE for this one! wink
I know it's a *little* early for football season, but do you think Jake Plummer will help out the Denver Bronco's Organization???

If you ask me, anyone is better than "griese" hands. It should be a welcome change... Let's just hope he performs as well up there as he did here...
yuk to all the Broncos haters out there! Bahahahahaha!

The Cardinals blow...the Bidwells blow...they should just break up the team and save Phoenix the money and embarassment.
Still for my beloved Patriots... :)

I hope he does better, he likes to move around and try to create plays. Sometimes this can get you in trouble. The team seems to accept him better, this will help for sure.

It will not help. Your Donkos have seen their day.... frown

I think it was a highly risky move to sign him to such a long, and wealthy contract. There is upside potential, but his past doesn't look good. In fact, sometimes he looked downright ugly in games.
I think Griese is a decent QB, he just can't stay healthy. Plummer will need to play within the system and not try to do it all himself like he did in AZ. If he can do that, he can be a good QB. If can't..................good luck Denver! :p

I didn't mind Plummer all that much but when they dropped Plummer and then they went out and got Blake. Blakes a backup at best!! Sorry but I'm pretty confused on that whole idea  . Bidwells SUCK, if you get rid of those A$$HOLES then Cardinals may have a winning season for once.

I vote for those suck-ass Bidwells to sell the Cards to Jerry Colangelo. :D pig_flyi

I second that! Cardinals will always be my favorite since I give home team the edge. However they suck, and its because the Bidwell's dont have a very good football mentality. Colangelo will at least try to win..and if not he will try to change for the better, the Bidwells just changed and never for the better.

BTW, I think Plummer is an outstanding quarterback, but was never given the right tools.

Anyone want to buy a box of Jake's Flakes??
It was a test marketed cereal that was discontinued. I have 4 unopened, limited edition, collector's boxes of this cereal. Buy em now, or wait until ebay. I want $150.00 each.

You know, so many of the guys that leave the Cards seem to go on and do well on other teams. So, I have no doubt it'll happen in this case as well. If Plummer can get some protection so he's not off scurrying around after being flushed out of the pocket and chucking interceptions, he'll probably do OK! I'll even bet the Broncos make the playoffs and the Cards don't. And no, I'm not a Broncos fan ever since Elway snuubbed the Colts years ago :( Hell, the new stadium we're building the Cards is 6 miles from my house. At least I'll be able to see some other teams! Bidwell makes the same case the Coyotes do, if they're not the primary occupant of a stadium/coliseum, you don't get the advertizing revenue, hence don't have the money to buy the big stars. OK, now they both have new homes in the works. Let's see them spend some $$$ and get a winning team

I liked watching the guy play in college and had high hopes for him but it was mostly embarrasing to see him the last few years.
Now that we are talking quartebacks, Rich Gannon just spent the last two hours here at the shop. Interesting guy and was full of questions.

Plummer has a good chance at being productive in the Bronco system...he has Elway-esk type of moves so he could prove himself in Denver. Cards never gave him enough to work with and be effective.
