I don't think they collaberate with their offices
just built a shop,engineering approved everything I had planned,then this clown comes out and throws a wrench into the machine.bitching about grade change and back filling against the treated wood!
now I gotta redesign the whole landscape plan and spend another 3 grand...knotheads!!! :mad:

Three grand isn't bad at all. I have seen much worse. Small town inspectors seem to have the worst problems. We tell customers to put back 5% of the total cost just for reasons like this.

Yeah it does suck,the three grand does'nt bother me as much as the 18 that already went into it...just was'nt wanting to put more cash into a shop,it's supposed to be part of my boat fund

What is worse for us is the time. He comes out and basicly shuts us down till the owner commits to paying for the changes. Then we have to make the changes. It usually costs us at least a week sometimes more.
