Ok, I know this topic has come up many times before but here goes...I want to shoot over to West Marine to pick up some wax for the detail and want to know which products some of you have used with good results..

For over the counter stuff go w/3m products.
Right now I use a product called driven. To me it works, but then again my gel is new so probably anything will work. I use it on my cars as well and I get very good results. good luck

Definitely 3M, west marine should have everything you need. Walmart here also carries a full line of 3M products, and they're probably less expensive than West.

Granted some of the stuff is not top of the line, they sure bail you out when your short on cash. My walmart carries a full line of 3m marine products.

I use Collinite # 845 insulator wax, it is awesome and works wonders on trucks too.My boat is a 1991 and she shines thanks to # 845. http://www.***boat.com/image_center/data/500/262newboat2-thumb.jpg

Boats beautiful, and I love the old gas pumps in the garage! My dad used to collect them and the old tin signs...now I have em! :D

I JUST got done giving the boat the first wash/wax of the season, so it's ready for Havasu on Sat. and the white (top) of the boat was oxidized bad. I used the 3M marine rubbing compound on it and it looks terrific. Tomorrow it will get the wax....Maquires Flagship marine wax......Now only if the wind would stop blowing.

57 2Door handyman (210 series) wagon. Bought it in 1981 and drove it for years. Put the body back on the frame after restoring it and all drive parts but thats as far as I got for now. I have 90% of the rest to finish just need the time.

I dont care what name is on the bottle, I like it.

I dont care what name is on the bottle, I like it. I agree, its good stuff. Just kinda odd that Racer's Edge disappears, and then suddenly... Viola... along comes Driven with the same bottle and what appears to be the same wax inside.
