Scuba Steve, your body can digest corn. It is the lipid layer that surrounds each kernel that you can not digest. Hence if you do not puncture the lipid "skin" even microscopically then it will pass through you.

My friends had a fancy long haired psycho type cat. They went on a 4 day trip and left puddy at home. When they returned, they found kitty had eaten the tape from a music casette.
Part of it was still coiled on the casette at the front end, cuz kitty didn't finish his cellophane tape meal, but the tape was also hanging out its ass......
They could pull the unraveled tape back and forth INSIDE the cat. eek!

It seemed to be done but then things started happening again at about 2:30. My ass turned into the Energizer bunny and by 4:30 I was ready for some immodium.
For the most part, I have recovered. It was quite fatiguing. Still, it was better than sitting around being bored when there's no liquor in the house.
