I have never seen the link that you are asking for but you might contact Drag Boat Review http://www.dragboatreviewonline.com/links.htm to see if they would provide a link. They do publish that information in their hard copy publication. If you are just looking for one particular class let me know and maybe I can look it up for you and report back here. R/R

Hey RR, Thanks for the info and the offer. What I was looking for is the "STRAIGHT POOP" for the question, "Whats the fastest 1/4 mile speed EVER obtained on water, and the fastest top speed, (all out) and by whom? This was the subject of a recent BS session. I know that the rules have changed since Eddie Hill ran a T/F hydro, and records of that era may have an asterisk beside them...Any info you could contribute would be appreciated, you know just some BS ammo for Monday at work.......... Thanks,Moneypitt

Moneypit, I don't know about the all time records but I just looked in this months Drag Boat Review and the current National record for TFH is held by Dwayne Patton in Wildside. He set both the ET (4.90) and MPH (245.76 mph) record at Firebird on 11/4/01. Keep in mind it's possible to run faster or quicker than a record but if it's not backed up by another run within 1% of each other (I think), then it doesn't count as a record. You might want to go on to the drag boat racers forum and ask this question too. Those guys might be able to shed some additional light on the subject. That link is http://forums.dragboatracing.com/

Fastest top speed (not 1/4 mile) I believe is Ken Warby at 317.60:

Records are also retired after a certain amount of time.

I don't know fastest speed, but Dwyane Patton ran a 4.55 at Red Bluff 2 years ago. Wasn't able to back it up to put it in the record books. But thats the QUICKEST e.t. to my knowledge.

Thanks to all that responded.... That's quite a bit of Straight Poop information to take into a BS session with people that know everything!!!
Thanks again.... Moneypitt
