Need some neighborhood input...
Looking at a long-weekend home rental just north of Acoma and just one street south of Palo Verde. A lot has changed since Ive live in LHC so I was not sure about the area? I don't need golf course area, but I just don't want to end up in a shit bag area.
Any input would be great as I am trying to lock it up today

No one from HB knows the area? Must be safe then? :rollside: :)

Either that, or they are tied up with their phone cords, while their house is being vandalized.

Do you mean East of N Acoma and North of Palo Verde Blvd South?

It's not a bad area. More traffic then some others,
but for the most part it's nice. There is a mix of
older and newer homes. I would feel safe leaving my
truck, boat, etc. out without a worry.
I think for a weekend rental, you would enjoy it.

Here is a map. I'm sure it's fine too just checking before I drag some guest to the river for the first time... sick of hotels latley. THanks

I live real close to Acoma and Palo Verde South, I am off Smoketree and Acoma and I have not had any problems. My garage has been opened for days when I wasn't there, my neighbors called me and closed it for me. I don't leave the garage opener plugged in any more when I leave.

Got a buddy a few blocks away on Constellation. Very good area, good neighbors and close to The Office. Great watering hole.

You're real near the school huh? :D I'm up on Kiowa a little ways.
.
Good Hood, most homes built probably 10+ years ago with a few new ones sprinkled in amoungst them. If directly on Smoketree a little bit of traffic goes by.

Our house was built in that area on Tovar ln. The area seems like a nice area.

We have a house off South Palo Verde, west of Acoma and I love the area. No problems with the neighborhood, close to the water, stores, ramp etc...
