Good looking boat Ziggy.....Is that the 2300LX? If so mine is very comfortable and smooth also. I am looking to upgrade and am looking at a few different mfrs as well as Commander. You will enjoy the boat and get a lot of looks. What engine did you put in it? Mine has the 454Maag and I get hi 60's during ideal conditions...

Mrs. V----so right, mama's gotta be happy! No argument there.
HD- yup, 23LX. We moved up from their Sunstreaker and hope to keep it 10 years too. I got the 6.2 w/bravo1, and only cranked it up to 55mph or so with about 1K left on the tach...still too fresh to really wind up yet. Claimed top speed is in the 63-65 range....although its not a big deal to me if it does or not.

Wow, it's a 23. It looked more compact in the pics. Enjoy. :D :D

The 6.2 has how much HP?

How much more would it have been to go with the 496 HO?

Boozer:
How much more would it have been to go with the 496 HO? A few grand more but my reason for the 6.2 was somewhat in the line of Mrs. FlyinV regard...keeping the wife happy. The 496 would cause the rear deck to be elevated and therefore not flat/large enough to comfortably lay on. And I LIKE it when she's out there tanning the hind quarters. :D :D
The other was the fact it only would produce a few extra MPH which wasn't a factor for me. $ vs. speed vs. fuel efficiency the 6.2 just made alot of cents(pun intended). wink
