... with hot rods and boats when:
1.) You spend all your time around women talking about hot rods and boats.
2.) You spend all your time around hot rods and boats talking about women.
3.) You have bought 2 computer keyboards in the last 6 months because you keep spilling beer and getting pizza crumbs in the old ones while posting on Hot Boat.
4.) The toilet in the master bath needs replaced, but you walk all the way through the house to the other bathroom because you used the money to buy a new ignition and plug wires for the boat.
5.) You get caught on Hot Boat Forums at work, but it's cool because the boss is doing the same thing.
6.) While other people vacation to Europe or Hawaii, you spend all of your vacation trying to get the boat back together so you can go to the lake 10 miles from your house on weekends.
7.) There are so many hot rod magazines and summit catalogs stacked on the toilet tank, you don't know when they will fall over, and you hope your not there because they will knock you off the pot.
8.) You spend $20,000 restoring a boat that you can't sell for more than $6,000.
9.) You spend the same amount fixing a car and pick-up that aren't worth more than the boat.
10.) Your family thinks you crazy.

So,with $xK into a 1973 Suburban (3/4 ton, 4x4), and still have paint and interior to go, where does that put me? My kids hate it when I drive them to school in the "blue beast" yuk

The Stang will be looking good after day one on the bus. And after her friends see her driving it, watch out. I like your style. I just have a hard time comprehending how parents today buy the kids the $25K or more vehicles to drive to school, etc. Boggles my mind (which doesn't take a lot).
