Blown 23 T, magnesium knockoff Halibrands, 460 (happens to be what's in the boat, hmmmm). Definitely old school, built in 1970. The garage is officially out of room now.

Yep, eBay is addicting. Sometimes, I just get bored, and start bidding on things for no reason.
Hey, if you need garage space, I will gladly keep that in my shop for ya, provided you leave the keys....heh heh heh.
Congrats on the car. -DD Out

Is someone going through a mid life crisis?? lol
Real cool ride. Love that injector hat. With you bringing back all of the old skool boat stuff I would expect you to drive nothing less.

I'll take a guess and say around $3200. Higher or Lower?
Nice old school rod, nice way to pick up a blower for the boat and then sell the rod for more than ya paid and get a free blower plus cash.

The Halibrands are worth more than that! No, I paid quite a bit more than $3200. It was a show car.... chrome frame, rear end, leather (not pleather) interior and is even running original Firestone bias plys. This IS gong to be a handful... kinda like the fuel altereds, but on the street! :D
Would look kinda cool having a blown open bow Rogers.... oh, Cyclone!

Be careful, those things(high horse power hot rods) will bite ya. Comparing it to an altered pretty much nails it.

Sweet ol school ride! Screw pulling the blower leave it on the T, damn that sucide front end running bias ply tires with a blown 460...That thing will be more than a handful. I hope it keeps ujoints in better than the one we had.
Drive shafts tend to get a little short on those things.
Nice ride!

It's nice to know I'm not the only old school street rod freak here! Here's the feature article Popular Hot Rodding did back in 1971. Kinda bummed someone swapped the Shotgun motor for a 460, but what the hell.
