If I have to sign real estate docs this weekend up in Havasu on Saturday, I will drag the boat up to the lake. If not, I will be boating down on the Parker Strip. Either way, I will be at the river... :)

Three (wow); we have one Shit-Zhu and just take her if the in-laws are not in town...we have to take her this weekend, but she just hangs at the house all day, gets nervous in the loud boat.

I was thinking of dragging the boat down to Parker on Saturday until I read the report below:
RIVER CLOSURE THIS WEEKEND
Due to the International Water Ski Races, March 8th & 9th, the Parker Strip will be closed to through traffic vessels from 8am to 4pm during race heats.
Vessel traffic will be allowed at intervals during race heat breaks.
The closure will be in effect from BlueWater Resort and Casino to the south border of La Paz County Park.
All launch ramps in the affected areas are closed to launchings during the closure.
......man that's over half the strip closed down. I knew the races were going on, but not till 4pm! Looks like I'll hit the Sandbar on Sat too.

Relative to hot spots, that closure only really affects the lower Sandbar, all the upper Bars, Sundance, Roadrunner, and Foxes are all still open, and the upper Sand Bar would not be affected...I have been there on Ski weekend's before and did not miss those lower 4-6 miles.. :)
