Great News, Rice Hauler recovered

The Cig boat ( Rice Hauler) that was stolen two years ago has been recovered, i was just reading about it on oso http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/showthread.php?t=125081
Hope they caught the scum that stole it and hopefully it's not to messed up.
I can't even imagine how i would feel if i lost my boat.

That's great news!!!! Now hopefully the guy who goes to Pleasant with a similar colored Gun will stop being harassed everytime he tries to take his family to the lake. :D :D :D

It's not. I've talked to the guy a few times. Really nice guy. Beautiful boat and it's similar to Rice Hauler. He carries the flier with pics with him now, but still gets the business everytime he's out there. Guess he spent about 3 hours on the side of the road the first time he tried to take it out, overrun with cops and I believe even FBI as they were trying to figure out if it was the boat they were looking for. The sheriffs waved him back to the dock last time we were out. I told him I'd think about having it painted. At least they're doing some proactive looking though. :D :D :D

He is a friend of mine and the first time it happened the story was pretty funny. He just got the boat at the end of last season.
He bought it with stock Merc 575s in it.

When the guy first posted the pic of Rice Hauler he posted engine pics from a different boat, they looked like PSI or big blower motors. They are from a straight bottom Gun. He then edited the pic and put the Rice Hauler engine pic on instead (Richie Zul's)
Rice Hauler does have the same paint on both sides. I know Rob.
