Not positive, but I thought Zummer maybe worked at Savage Marine up there....In his profile it says certified Mercruiser tech, so you might want to send him a message.

Ron (Lakeland Marine) If I may, Whats your opinion of AMI in Daytona I'm thinking of getting out of Automotive and going Marine. Do ya know of any other good schools?

They want $10,500 for a 5 month course, typical tech school format. They do motorcycles and lake lice all so.

I did the private tech school thing about 10 years ago. Big mistake. Learned nothing there that I couldn't have at a local school. Spent some serious $$$$ (still paying that shit off). And as for prestige and job placement, bullshit. Their idea of job placemant was getting McDonalds to hire you after graduation.
Stay local, or at least a public or state run school. Just my .02.
