I had a Teague platinum XR upper that broke after 20hrs (approx). It was on a new boat, Teague would not cover it for me....put and IMCO on instead and have been happy for the last 30 hrs or so....

I just had Max Machine rebuild my busted Bravo 1 and he warranties it for 1 year up to 1200HP. It has everything replaced inside and looks pretty trick!

go ahead, waste your time and money at bob teague, imco, etc.
when you are all done, go see aaron and jason at max machine worx...
i push over 1000 hp (gt performance whippled 540) thru their drive and have had no issues...when i have had other issues they have gone the extra mile to help me.
just don't need a big bald dude taking my money then telling me to f off......

Just over 30K and you need a trans. just like a # 6. But they are a bad ass drive. They are also working on Bravo replacement. I had GT do my drive.
Alco talk to Grass Pays on the boards he has the drive hook up and knows the M.Machine guys pretty well.

One of my customers has a rebuilt xr drive for sale. For cheep he says. I'm not an outdrive guy so I didn't ask any details.
But I will say he's a stand up guy and I bet you could get this cheeper then getting your drive fixed. would make a nice spare too!

Rock-it-Man just put on the Wiesmann, but I have not heard any feedback yet? It does need a tranny, but it still comes in 300 pounds lighter than #6. Time will tell seeing as R-I-M will be running 1800-2000 hp through one!

Never had a waranty issue with teague But I can say that they are the worst on resale side of things..I don't push anything they make..I think you need to do 250K plus to be worth dealing with to them..
