Hey man,
There is a 28 Eliminator Eagle in the AZ boat trader. It has a 454 Mag, tri-axle trailer, and looks real clean. Check boattraderonline.com, I think it is on there also. If I recall, he is asking $37-$38K, but a little inside, it has been in the trader off and on for the past 2 years or so. I'm sure you can get a good deal on it. I'll post the link if I find it.

I didn't see it either. When I run out, I'll scan the newest boat trader on the stands and see if it is in there.

I found it!
1994 Eliminator Eagle 28, 454 Bravo One, new stereo, 10 disc changer, full cover, bimini top, tri-axle trailer, trailer repainted last year, beautiful boat, great shape, must sell, $38,000

If it is the same boat I have seen at the lake a couple times, it seems to be really nice and a great deal. Good luck and let me know if you come to AZ to check it out. We'll meet up.

Lotoparty,
I don't know if it matters or not but that year boat is not a step bottom...
In late 95 they built thier first step 28's,picked up about 3-5 mph depending on the x-dimension.
It is still a very nice boat, great ride.Seems like a fair price,if it's in good shape
Keep us posted :D

talked to the guy with the eliminator today and he sent a pic. your right roln 20s , it is a nice looking boat , but , it has a 454 mpi and only runs 55 mph top end. :(
im going to keep looking for a boat with a 502 or 454 mag.
thanks again ,
steve

Lotoparty,
Glad you got a hold of the guy. That is kinda a bummer it is rather slow, but as playtime said it isn't a step bottom which costs it a couple of miles of hours too. If you can get a smoken deal, maybe a procharger/whipple would be a good investment. Good luck in your continued search, let me know if I can help ya in any other way. Keep us up to date.

Lotoparty-
Saw this one in the AZ trader when I was browsing today. If you are interested, just respond on here and I will get you the number of the owner.
1995 Eliminator 28 Eagle (may be the 1st step bottom- not sure), mid cabin/open bow, tandem trailer, almost exactly like the other one, bravo drive, NO MOTOR!! asking $22K
If you can pick up a cheap 454/502/496, this might not be a bad boat. Just another thought. Only boat that fit your criteria in this weeks trader.

Glad you got ahold of him. If you don't want to deal with the hassles of buying an engine, etc... check out the Eliminator at the top of this post, also in Phx. If you come down here, let me know and we'll meet up if you have time. Have a good one and good luck.

Roln 20s,
Thanks again, I'll let you know if I am heading up there. Still trying to piece everything together. I'm still undecided now. It seems like a good deal for the money, but as I am learning, little things can add up quickly. It will definately take some TLC. If I do head up to Phoenix, I will look at both boats before any purchase is made. Thanks again for the help.

Magic1,
What is your honest opinion regarding Magics and Sleekcrafts versus the Eliminator Eagles.
Ride?
Speed?
Price?
How much are the 26'-29' used ones I see on your sight?
thanks

Lotoparty,
I may have a boat you might be interested in. I sent you a PM on OSO about it, you may not remember.
It meets some of the requirements you requested and doesn't meet some others.
1996 Scarab w/ 502 mag (stock) 270 hours.
Triple Axle trailer
Bolsters
Tabs
Porta Potty
Cockpit Cover
The works
Price is within your limits. Low 30s.
Things that don't meet your requests....No Gaffrig gauges (can be upgraded), no external steering, no silent choice...exhaust has built in canisters to silent (not switchable) I am looking to add some EMI manifolds and so on. But this would also not be switchable.
This boat is withing your price range. You mentioned you may be dreaming. I don't think so. Anything's possible.
I would like to move up to something in the 28-30 range. Wife isn't crazy about it, but if I sell ours maybe she'll have to give in. :)
I do not know how to post pics to this site. If someone can explain how to I will be glad to put some up here. I can email them to you if you would like.
